Lori graduated from Cortiva – Muscular Therapy Institute in 2008 with a foundation in Swedish-based muscular therapy and has continued her training in deep tissue massage.  Her work is practical and goal-oriented, blending specific deep tissue work, neuromuscular therapy, relaxation massage, stretching and self-care exercises to address her clients’ individual needs and facilitate healing from injury, pain and tension.  She believes compassion and her sense of humor are key to communicating with clients and sees her work with them as a collaborative process.

Lori holds a degree in Theatre Arts from Hollins University in Virginia and spent several years as a professional stage manager in regional theatres all over the East Coast.  Lori now enjoys working with performers, technicians and designers as clients, as she has a deep understanding of the unique physiological demands of the business.  In her free time, Lori can be found reading, redecorating and attempting to cook.
