Maureen graduated from The Cortiva Institute Boston in 2009 with a foundation in Swedish based muscular therapy and continued training in myofascial release work. She holds a bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Science from Gettysburg College, where she worked closely with athletes in the athletic training program. Maureen combines her passion for anatomy and kinesiology with a practical approach to help her clients meet their specific goals. She integrates modalities such as myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy and relaxation massage into her sessions focusing on the client’s unique tension patterns and postural alignment compensations. Maureen believes each session offers the opportunity for balance and healing, whether a client is rehabilitating an injury, training for an event or looking to decrease the stress from their daily lives. Maureen can often be found on a soccer field, practicing yoga or trying a new recipe … oh, and jumps at the opportunity to travel abroad!
