Sollievo is now offering massage packages to carry you through your pregnancy and beyond.  Many changes happen through each trimester of pregnancy and regularly scheduled massage treatments can help you find the relief that you need during this extraordinary time in your life. 

We offer two different options. Each package is designed to focus on the emotional and physical changes your body is going through during each trimester and postpartum.  Prenatal massage can be an important element of a woman’s pregnancy experience, as massage treatments:

• Create a space for you and your body to relax comfortably
• Relieve headaches, backaches, hip and shoulder tension
• Increase circulation
• Reduce swelling in hands, feet, and joints
• Decrease anxiety
• Ease postpartum adjustment, both physically and emotionally, as your body recovers and takes on new challenges of caring for a newborn

Your massage therapist at Sollievo has completed specialized training in prenatal and postpartum massage.  Pregnancy massage is performed using a variety of bolsters and pillows to make sure the body (and developing baby) are supported throughout the treatment. Each treatment will be tailored to your needs in your current trimester, and will be modified as your pregnancy progresses.  We look forward to supporting you through this change of life!

The “Maternity” Package consists of (4) ninety-minute sessions – one for each trimester and one postpartum.  Each session includes time to discuss your individual treatment plan and self-care as well as hands-on time.  Postpartum treatments are valid up to six months following your due date.

The “Motherhood” Package consists of (9) ninety-minute sessions – two during the first trimester and one monthly treatment throughout the rest of your pregnancy, with one final treatment postpartum. Each session includes time to discuss your individual treatment plan and self-care as well as hands-on time.  Postpartum treatments are valid up to six months following your due date.
