Sports Massage
Sports Massage is the blended use of Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, fascial work, and stretching techniques to enhance athletic performance and to promote and maintain the optimal health of the athlete. Whether your goal is to relieve muscle pain and tension, restore range of motion, or facilitate recovery after training or competitions, sports massage plays an integral role in achieving your peak performance.
We offer two packages to fit your training needs. They are designed to focus on what your body needs pre- and post-event:
- General recovery massage from training sessions leading up to the event and following competition
- Improve flexibility by relaxing tight muscles
- Increase circulation and joint mobility
- Decrease pre-event anxiety
- Reduce the potential for injury
- Give special attention to muscles stressed during training/competition such as legs for runners, cyclists and skiers and upper body work for swimmers and rowers
Our sports massage “Sprint Package” is a series of (3) 60-minute treatments ($260.00) or (5) 30-minute treatments ($240.00). We recommend 2-3 weekly treatments leading up to the event and 1-2 treatments during the week following the event.
Our sports massage “Marathon Package” is a series of (5) 60-minute treatments ($400.00) or (8) 30- minute treatments ($360.00). We recommend 4-6 weekly or biweekly treatments leading up to the event and 1-2 treatments during the week following the event.
